Facilities & Operations Team
This team is on a mission to support our team by enhancing the quality of every single facility the YW operates out of. Dawn Short works alongside the Chief Executive Officer, Stacey Woodland, to develop and lead key efforts to improve and maximize the operations and resources of YWCA Tri-County Area.
YWCA Tri-County Area’s (YW3CA) Facilities & Operations team manages all the daily operations at YW3CA’s multiple locations. Lead by the fearless, Dawn Short, this department is the glue to our organization. This team ensure every building is clean, organized, and a quality work and education environment for all YW3CA program participants, staff, and volunteers.
Dawn Short additionally oversees certain responsibilities of communication with YW3CA’s Board of Directors. Through an online board management platform, BoardEffect, Dawn is able to organize and plan board meetings, provide security and control for important content, and enhance the overall efficiency for the board and our YW3CA staff.

Maturity Works Program
YWCA Tri-County Area is happy to be a host agency for Maturity Works in Montgomery County, PA. As a host agency, we provide skill-development opportunities in positions that increase our capacity to mature workers that are interested in re-entering the workforce. Each adult works 15-20 hours a week and receives guidance, training, and assessment and development as needed.
YW3CA’s Facilities & Operations Team manages the Maturity Workforce for our organization. Steph Pennington, Operations Assistant oversees the Maturity Works and clean up team. She helps take care of the daily routine of cleaning and maintenance for each of the buildings.
