Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ is the most widely recognized credential in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and is a key stepping stone on the path to career advancement in ECE. CDA is a National Credentialing Program that focuses on the skills of early care and educating professionals who work with young children. CDA meets the requirements of childcare staff, home visitors, and family child care providers.

2. Click here to complete online application; or pick up application at YWCA’s Early Childhood Center at 315 King Street or YWCA’s Adult Education and Training Center at 1830 E. High Street

3. Submit your application or bring it with you the first day of class

Class Schedule

Saturday, August 26 to November 11 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Hybrid Classes – Every other class face-to-face at 300 King Street and alternate classes online

(Students without internet access provided opportunities to access online classes)

Internships opportunities available  

 Cost

$400 plus $50 for required CPR/First/AED Training

Half of cost due at first class
